Cengiz Holding-Truva Bakır A.Ş. Halilağa Copper Mine Project, Examination and Evaluation Commission (IDK) meeting, which will destroy the ecosystem intended to be realized by Çanakkale-Bayramiç, was held at the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization.
The result of the İDK, which was attended by environmental organizations, chambers and CHP Çanakkale Deputy Özgür Ceylan, will be announced by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization at the end of the 10-day period.

Environmental organizations object to the project, which includes three villages of Bayramiç district, Muratlar, Hacıbekirler and Halilağa, on the grounds that it will destroy the ecosystem of the region. The meeting, which started at 11:00, was attended by Ministry, company and EIA company officials, Kazdağı Natural and Cultural Heritage Conservation Association, Çan Environment Association, Kazdağları Ecology Platform and CHP Çanakkale Deputy Özgür Ceylan. Süheyla Doğan, President of the Association for the Protection of Kazdağı Natural and Cultural Heritage, gave information to Çanakkale OLAY about the meeting. Stating that buses are not allowed in order to prevent participation in the meeting, Doğan said that they made their objections by participating and they waited for the decision to be made within 10 days.
