The approximately 200-kilometer Nilüfer Stream, which starts from Uludağ and joins with many streams and Susurluk Stream on the plain and pours from Karacabey to the Marmara Sea, turned black due to polluted wastes.

Agriculture and animal husbandry in the Bursa Plain was adversely affected. Polluted water also causes an increase in the pollution of the Marmara Sea, which has recently come to the fore with sea saliva.

TURNED INTO CHEMICAL WASTE

The blackness in the water and the points where the dirty wastes were discharged into the tea were viewed from the air with a drone. Stating that people learned to swim in the Nilüfer Stream, DOĞADER Board Member Murat Demir said, “Nilüfer Stream used to be a life cycle with fish, frogs, turtles, snakes and aquatic plants, but the probability of life here is zero now.
