CHP Eskişehir Deputy Utku Çakırözer announced the October data of the Press Freedom Report, which he regularly shares with the public every month. Claiming that journalists were prevented from performing their duties and even threatened with death, Çakırözer said, “In October, nearly 50 journalists appeared before the judge. Countless journalists have been investigated for their articles and tweets. There were journalists who were sentenced to prison terms and sentenced to heavy compensation.”
