PİRHA- Malatya Environment Platform (Mal-Çep) made a written press statement regarding the accusations and humiliating insults against the Spokespersons and Executive Board Members of the Platform in Malatya and Turkey.

Against the environmental pillages experienced and to be lived in all districts and villages of Malatya by publishing the declaration of establishment on September 29, 2020; Malatya Environment Platform (Mal-Çep), which started an anticapitalist environmental struggle, made a written press release regarding the accusations and humiliating insults against them.

In the press release, “From the moment our platform was established, we knew that unjust accusations, conspiracies, threats and pressures against the Spokespersons, Executive Board Members, Provincial-District Representatives and members of our platform could come. We have announced to the public in a few public statements that these may happen, but that we will not bow to them and that we will not hold back from our struggle. “Despite the fact that many unfair accusations and slanders were made and wrong articles were written for the spokespersons and Executive Board members of our platform in Malatya and Turkey, because some people who are mining companies and mine lobbyists and some local politicians who are interested in seats will lose their seats and local political activities; As Malatya Environment Platform, we; We did not take these accusations seriously because we trusted our friends. We didn’t even feel the need to answer what was written. We will continue this principled stance from now on.

In our struggle of mining companies and mining lobbyists to defend our living spaces against environmental pillage; We can say that the slanders and accusations they made to our spokespersons and BoD members, the false articles they wrote, “they are doing it as a requirement of their own rent and robbery order of companies and their collaborators” and we do not take them seriously.

However, we want it to be known that such misleading statements and writings of institutions and individuals that we have seen so far and will continue to see friends as well, will not be accepted with understanding. We would like to remind the relevant persons and institutions that we are and will continue to be with each of our members, executive boards and spokespersons. “

Just as we, as Platform, have not made any statements or written about any institution or person whom we officially regard as friends; It is the most natural right of our platform to expect this from our friends. Because; We would also like to state that such false statements are beneficial for imperialist companies and a few robber collaborator companies and mine lobbyists in Turkey. But we will not waste our energy on false statements based on gossip and empty words. “
