According to projections for 2050, climate change will lead to a reduction in the availability of fruits and vegetables. The impact of climate on agricultural resources is projected to lead to increased mortality in industrialized countries.

Concerns about climate change may well overtake obesity in the health concerns of the 21st century. For the first time, a study attempts to estimate the impact of climate change in the world on mortality linked to changes in agriculture by 2050. Researchers at the University of Oxford have more specifically studied the ” impact on weight changes (risk associated with underweight or excessive weight) as well as the availability of fruits and vegetables and red meat.
