TMMOB Chamber of Architects Ankara Branch President Tezcan Karakuş Candan stated that the General Assembly of the Council of State Administrative Case Divisions suspended the execution of the 1700 numbered resolution for the Presidential Complex at Atatürk Orman Çiftliği (AOÇ) and said, “Let the Fugitive Palace be evacuated and the Presidency moved to Çankaya Mansion. ” said.

Tezcan Karakuş Candan, Head of the Ankara Branch of the Chamber of Architects, announced that the General Assembly of the General Assembly of the Administrative Case Divisions of the Council of State suspended the execution of the resolution 1700, which was issued for the Presidential Complex established in the Atatürk Forest Farm, as a result of the lawsuit filed by the Chamber of Architects.
Candan’s written statement is as follows:
“The Fugitive Palace should be evacuated and the Presidency moved to the Çankaya Mansion. According to the principle decision numbered 1700, it is free to establish an official institution in natural and protected areas. This decision was made after the cancellation of the previous decision that prevented the construction of the Fugitive Palace in the AOÇ areas, and the establishment of an official institution in the natural and protected areas. 1700. The Chamber of Architects filed a lawsuit for the stay of execution and annulment of this principle decision. When the stay of execution was refused, the case was moved to the Council of State Administrative Litigation Chambers Board. The decision was communicated to the relevant persons and professional organizations.According to this decision, the high decision body did not allow the phrases ‘compulsory infrastructure applications and official institution structures to be made within the scope of these practices’ in natural and historical sites such as AOÇ and decided to suspend the execution. ..
