The Audit Report of the Ministry of Health of the Court of Accounts revealed the justification of the censorship claims. In the draft text of the report, it is stated that millions of doses of vaccine have become unusable and some people are given an overdose.

The Audit Report of the Ministry of Health of the Court of Accounts brought to light the scissors on the reports. While a total of 69 findings were written under “Other Findings” in the draft report, the number of findings decreased to 33 in the report shared with the Parliament. In the draft report, it is stated that the expiry dates of a total of 2.4 million doses of vaccine in the warehouse of provincial health directorates have passed. In the report, it is also stated that due to the weakness in the control system, multiple doses of varicella and quadruple mixed vaccines were administered to some people.
Vaccines are out of date
CHP Deputy Murat Emir received the draft report, which was turned into a bird after the Report Evaluation Commission’s examination. In the report, it is seen that a separate section is devoted to the problems in the Ministry’s Vaccine Tracking System (ATS). In the section that was not included in the original report, but was shared under the title of “Some of the Vaccines Purchased Expired or at Risk of Expiration” in the draft report, there is the following striking finding:
“In the review made by ATS, a total of 2 million 433 thousand 250 doses of vaccine, including 720 thousand 321 doses of adult-type tetanus diphtheria vaccine, 664 thousand 371 doses of oral polio vaccine, 434 thousand 70 doses of PPD solution and 261 thousand 219 doses of chickenpox vaccine, were administered in 2020. It has been determined that the warehouses of the provincial health directorates have expired. In the examinations made on the MKYS, it has been understood that a total of 136,680 doses of vaccine, including 57 thousand 439 doses of PPD vaccine, 48 thousand 498 doses of adult-type tetanus diphtheria vaccine, 13 thousand 750 doses of measles vaccine, have expired.
